Summer getaway Kusatsu Gunma ken part 2

Rise and shine.today is the second day of our kusatsu getaway.the wheather is cloudy the temperature is 26'C perfect for walking.todays sched is to stroll around yubatake(hot water field)everytime we are here we dont missed to visit yubatake.always having a good time looking for souviners And shops.sipping tea on one of there cafe's my husband And i love to try different cafe's and restaurant everytime we are visiting here.we had a lot of hits and misses but always having new memories. yubatake Has a lot of free unlimited spring hot bath houses around.I always have my towel ready with me just in case the boys want to quick dip into one of the free bath houses.the condotel that we are staying is about half an hour away by walking.ofcourse i hit the gym first before i got ready for todays stroll.

we've got a  bit tired and hungry yah!belly is calling our attention we look for cafe..

this cafe is just infront of yubatake.they served freshly oven baked mini pizza cakes and refreshments

i orderd chocolate cake hot tea set.(thank you my love for pouring my tea for me)

we ate and rest for a bit then we proceed for more stroll and shop sightseeing.the cakes was not as good as we expected but the tea was wonderfull.hubby said his ice coffee was good to.

we went for soft serve instead now then everyone is happy.we love this honey specialty shop they also offerd  soft serve drizzle with honey on top.i want mine simple though

we went back at the condotel after we got tired.the kids are exhausted they nap the moment they hit the pillow. we learned our lesson from the previous day so we call ahead and made a dinner reservation this time.we went at TAMURA there especialty is freshwater eel.they served fresh unagi it taste excellent.we well definitely coming back.i ate lot i cant even breath

we lit fireworks with the kids after dinner it was so fun.then i let them swim for a bit after.today was so memorable for us and for the kids.we have to sleep early for tommorow will be our last day we have to check out around 10:00am

my husband and i clean a bit before we leave.special thanks to my generous sister in law and her husband for always letting us stay at there unit.im so blessed having them in my life....

Summer getaway Kusatsu,Gunma ken Part 1

its obon yasume here (festival of soul).although this is traditional festival not an officiall holiday but offices and business are closed. its time for us to go out of town yeheyyy!! remember  last spring holiday we didnt  had  a chance to go out of town..because of my eldest son soccer commitment.im glad we made it this time.the kids are looking forward for this trip.they simply love everything here in kusatsu.the warm natural spring bath,the food,and the strool.
we were here since wednesday night.we travel at night if we have chance its less traffic than travelling at day.we step out of the house around 5:30 to 6:00pm
We had "SANO RAMEN" for dinner  Sano is famous for there ramen.everytime we are going to gunma we make sure to stopby Sano service area.

After dinner we went straight to our destination without any delay thank god.we arrived around 10:45pm.

the kids are so tired of the long journey after we settle our things we got to bed and slept like a baby. On our first morning

what a pleasure waking up to this beautiful nature view.i quickly prepared breakky we start the day  early. the now just awake and energized kids want to swim (the moment they open there eyes) before i go with them i did a quick workout.dont forget a little exercise while on vacay (i motivate myself by having a to do list and paste it by the door and kitchen ref) try it guys it works wink

Then karaoke after im surprice they still have energy left after two hours of swim.the kids had a blast at the karaoke room.two hours is not enought for them but we had to go to buy some fresh corn.

We plan to eat nihon soba for dinner tonight  unfortunately our favorite sobaya that was close.We are to hungry to walk back to get the car so we decided to just eat at the first restaurant's we saw on the way.not further away we saw tongkatsu restaurant we are surprice how delish there tongkatsu was.i had tongkatsu dinner set included with rice tonjiru soup and pickled raddish,carrot,cucumber.we are so full we went back to condotel to hot bath and relax before we call it a night.tommorow is gonna be another busy day for us... family time is always a fun time.wait for part two of our kusatsu getaway

Weekend getaway: Team Otani goes to HAKONE JAPAN,

its weekend so to hakone we go.hakone is 2hours far from tokyo by car(without traffic) and an hour and a half by densya(train) we leave the house 6:00 in the morning.we only have a day to explore hakone.so we dont want to waste out time stucking into traffic.since its still so early in the morning we dont have appetite Yet to eat proper brekky hubby bought freshly baked bread instead. so that the kids can eat in the car.

We made it into our destination around 9:30am yahoooo!!!


But feel dismay the moment i saw this sign

Its say no video and photography allowed inside this hotel.huwaaatttttt??????? Pano na Ng post ko????? May hotel palang ganon??? i ask there staff why picture taking is not allowed inside?i mean hakone is a tourist spot? Pano na mga tourist na gusto I document by pictures about there trip? She politely answers me na there priority is to there customers to feel as relax a possible and maaachieve lang nila un sa quit environment.(dapat pala sa sementeryo sila CHOS lang po un)nway dahil matigas ang ulo ko ng burberry lite.
